It’s Champion’s league day!

And some exciting fixtures are taking place tonight. The main event will be the opposition between Inter and Barcelona. But a beautiful Ajax vs Napoli has to be mentioned. Chelsea will face AC Milan tomorrow, at Stamford Bridge.

End of career for Gonzalo Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain, 34, will retire at the end of the MLS season, he announced in an emotional press conference on Monday. The Inter Miami player will possibly play his last professional match on 5 November, the date of the final. The Argentine international (75 caps, 32 goals) will mostly be remembered by Real Madrid, Napoli and Juventus. With Chelsea, he won the Europa League in 2019, even though he played only one game in that campaign.

How about the Blues?

What if CR7 joins the Blues?

The Telegraph reveals that Erik ten Hag, who had wanted to keep him this summer before accepting a possible departure, has told his management that the door is already wide open for CR7 in the 2023 winter Mercato. The Dutchman will not be an obstacle to his departure if a good offer arrives. This is good news for CR7 and his agent Jorge Mendes, who will be able to work on the dossier. Some observers see Chelsea going on the offensive, especially since Todd Boehly wanted him this summer but Thomas Tuchel refused.

Eyes on young Brazilian talent from Arsenal

With three goals and an assist to his name, Gabriel Martinelli has confirmed his potential at the start of the season. After a more difficult season last year, the young Brazilian is back to his best. This allows him to attract interest. According to the Daily Express, the Carioca striker is being followed by the Blues and his new owner, Todd Boehly. Boehly is monitoring the situation of the player who is under contract with the Gunners until June 2024.

The English newspaper says Chelsea could make a move in the next transfer window.
